Help us match the right people to the right projects. Tell us about your skills, availability, and how you'd like to contribute — so we can put your talents to work for the 5P- Society and the families we serve.
The Five P- Society has always believed that lived experience is expertise. The parent who has navigated three IEP battles knows things no textbook can teach. The nurse who happens to have a child with 5p- carries a perspective that spans both worlds. The adult sibling who grew up alongside their brother or sister understands this journey at a depth few others will.
Our community is quietly full of lawyers, therapists, educators, doctors, financial planners, social workers, and advocates — and every one of them became more passionate about their field because of 5p-. The Skills Registry exists so we can find each other, and so that expertise never sits idle when a family somewhere needs exactly what you have.
Parents, caregivers, siblings, and individuals with 5p- hold knowledge earned through years of daily life — and that knowledge changes everything for a newly diagnosed family.
Doctors, therapists, attorneys, educators, and social workers in our community can help other families navigate complex systems — peer-to-peer, in plain language.
Grant writers, web developers, translators, photographers, event planners — the society runs on the volunteer talents of members who give what they're good at.
Sometimes what a family needs isn't advice — it's someone who has already been through it. Mentors, support partners, and community connectors are just as vital as any credential.
"We don't just want members who receive — we want members who give, in whatever way they can. This community is only as strong as the people who pour into it."
Your skills have been added to our registry. We'll be in touch when there's a project that's a great fit for you.
